Brutally Honest Book Reviews was created to help guide readers through the vast selection of work available from self-published authors--meaning those authors who independently (hence "indie") publish for Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble Nook and other platforms.
This is a fascinating time to be an author, let alone a reviewer. We love indie authors when they're good. Not so much when they're bad, since that makes things more difficult for everybody--readers, other authors and, of course, your long-suffering reviewers. :)
We may be snarky sometimes, but we will never be downright mean. Unless you deserve it.
